We often see the best sides of mothers when we follow them on Instagram. It isn't very often that women want to share the "bloopers" of their lives. Amy Duggar King wanted to show people what it was really like to be a mother. She wanted to show people that the life of a new mom isn't makeup and beautifully pinned up hair. Amy is seen dozing off on a couch. She has her beautiful son latched onto her nursing. All she is wearing is a bathrobe and she looks exhausted. She captions her posts "Pretty poses, makeup and photoshoots are great but it's not real. Life isn't perfect and I don't want the people who follow me to think that! So this is the real me, in real time living my best life! Hot tea in hand, ice water leaned up against me, half dressed and completely worn out! 😂Mom thanks for the snapshot of me catching some 💤💤's!"

We love this photo so much! This really is a picture that depicts motherhood. Any mother can relate to this picture. Motherhood is tiring and very difficult. It is a hard adjustment and often you kind of feel like a mess and you are falling apart. It is important for people to share these photos of parenthood because then it shows women it is okay if you feel this way. It is normal. It is normal to feel exhausted!

Amy Duggar King and her husband Dillon King welcomed their first child on October 9. They named their son Daxton Ryan. Amy gave birth to her son via c-section. He weighed 7lbs 8oz and was 20 inches long. It was said that Amy had a very smooth and easy delivery which is always good to hear. The couple is trying really hard to adjust to being parents but it is definitely a hard change. Amy said that they kind of went into hibernation after their son was born and she even apologized to her followers that she had been MIA. She captioned her newborn photos with little Daxton, “Sorry I’ve been a little MIA lately..actually to be honest I’m not really that sorry!!"
