Amy Schumer recently took to social media to celebrate her son’s nanny and admits she couldn’t do everything without the extra help.

This past Wednesday, Amy shared a hilarious photo of herself wearing matching facemasks with her infant son Gene’s nanny. “This is our nanny who makes it possible for me to work and know that our baby is happy and healthy,” the mother-of-one captioned the sweet photo. “I love her very much and we also both want to have nice skin.” Many fans praised Amy in the comments and applauded her for having such a strong bond with her nanny.

This past October, Amy opened up about how anxious she was to return to work. But it seems like finding the right childcare provider has been a step in the right direction. “It’s like you get a piece of yourself back, but it is hard,” the actress-comedian said at the time. “I’m just so fortunate, you know? ‘Cause a lot of people have it a lot harder.”

Amy has a lot on her plate – and we’re not just saying that because she’s a working mom with an 8-month old at home. Earlier this week, the I Feel Pretty star revealed she’s begun IVF in hopes of welcoming a second child soon. She made the reveal on Instagram alongside a photo of her bruised stomach (as a result of the procedure).

“I’m a week into IVF and feeling really run down and emotional,” Amy captioned the candid photo. “We are freezing my eggs and figuring out what to do to give Gene a sibling.” The celebrity married chef Chris Fischer in 2018 and they welcomed their first child, son Gene, in May of 2019. Amy, 38, also asked fans for any words of wisdom. “If anyone went through it and if you have any advice or wouldn’t mind sharing your experience with me please do,” she wrote.

It’s unclear if Amy hopes to become pregnant this year or if she’s freezing her eggs to leave her options open for the future. Some fans are surprised the celebrity is ready for baby no. 2 so quickly, especially since her last pregnancy was so difficult – Amy was hospitalized for hyperemesis gravidarum, aka. severe morning sickness. Whatever this year brings for the Schumer-Fisher family, we can be sure Amy will keep fans updated online.
