Anna Faris has been busy promoting her latest film, Overboard. The premiere was held last week in Los Angeles, and while she was taking plenty of questions about the movie, there was still some time to share her parenting experiences. The actress shares 5-year-old son Jack with her soon-to-be ex-husband Chris Pratt. According to ET Online, Anna spoke to them about the best parts of being a mother - and the nitty gritty too.

The Scary Movie star explained how kids can get away with doing things when they're younger which can be deemed cute, but as the years pass it's an entirely different story. Think about writing on the walls or say, scribbling over the new cream carpet with mommy's bright pink lipstick. Not that we're talking from experience or anything. The 41-year-old also shared her version of a perfect Mother's Day celebration, although some parents might be surprised.

Rather than a day out at the zoo with the sprogs or a lovely family picnic on the beach, Anna's day would start out with a sweet snuggle from Jack and end in him "running away for the rest of the day". It might be slightly controversial, but come on. Who doesn't love the idea of celebrating being a mama by having a day off from being a mama? No little hands pulling on our skirts, no deciding what they want for dinner only for them to change their mind at the last second - and most of all, complete silence and a glass of wine as big as our heads. Doesn't that sound blissful? Agree or not, you have to admire her honesty.

Faris stars opposite Eugenio Derbez in her latest venture which was released last week. It's a remake of 1987's movie of the same name, which starred Hollywood's long-term couple Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell. Both Anna and Chris were busy filming different movies last year, giving little Jack a taste of the acting experience. The couple announced their separation in August of last year, filing for divorce in December.

We hope all of your Mother's Day dreams come true Anna!
