Instagram influencer and fitness trainer Anna Victoria has announced she gave birth to her baby girl earlier this week. The new mom was thrilled to welcome her daughter into the world. Followers of the fitness guru have been looking forward to the baby girl’s arrival.

Anna Victoria announced on Instagram on August 12 that she and her husband welcomed their baby girl into the world on August 10 at 8:06 p.m. They named their little girl Aurora Victoria Ferrett, and she weighed 8 pounds, 4 ounces when born. Victoria posted a photo to Instagram showing her with one fist in the air, smiling at her new daughter. According to Shape, Victoria has been open about her pregnancy, allowing fans in on what she’s been feeling and workouts she has been doing while pregnant.

Victoria first announced she was pregnant on January 28, with a post the next day saying the couple had just undergone IVF treatment. She says the couple did their first transfer back in November of 2019 and did not tell anyone. They were shocked when the treatment worked, as Victoria was preparing herself to see another negative pregnancy test the first time around. At the time of Victoria’s post, the couple decided not to know the gender of their baby, and only wanted to transfer the “best embryo,” no matter what the gender was.

Throughout her pregnancy, Victoria shared pictures of her growing belly, and how she changed her workouts. She also talked about how she struggled with morning sickness, Shape reports. The new mom says her pregnancy caused her to lose sleep, and even put her on bed rest for more than 10 weeks. Victoria has previously opened up about her and her husband’s IVF journey. They originally tried to use natural approaches to get pregnant, which included changing Victoria's diet and workouts, but it did not work.

Victoria then tried intrauterine insemination, but sadly, that did not work for her either. That’s when the couple turned to in vitro fertilization, which allowed her to get pregnant. Victoria was open about her pregnancy with her followers and showed the world her weight gain and stretch marks month by month. But the workouts she did throughout her pregnancy journey did bring in some backlash on Instagram where users criticized her telling her she should enjoy her pregnancy and not worry about working out. Victoria clapped back, saying working out had nothing to do with her appearance. She said her workouts helped with her pain and she wanted to strengthen muscles used during childbirth.

Baby Aurora may have come after her due date, but the couple is beyond elated to have her in their arms now. Victoria says their baby girl passed all of her tests, and they are expected to be discharged from the hospital on Friday, August 14.
