Looking flawless as always, Anne Hathaway made her red carpet after since giving birth to her second child, on Sunday night at the Critics' Choice Awards.
The form-fitting, gold sequined gown, complete with a plunging neckline and batwing sleeves, was reportedly an Atelier Versace design, per Page Six. To round out the look, the Les Miserables star chose an asymmetric drop earring and a gold clutch purse. Hathaway also chose to keep her long tresses loose and flowing, perhaps to match the overall feel of the dress.
The Modern Love actress walked the carpet with her husband, Adam Shulman, who wore a blue velvet tuxedo for the occasion.
Hathaway, 37, and Shulman, 38, are generally a private couple when it comes to life outside of Hollywood. It is very infrequent that the duo is photographed with their son, Jonathan. Therefore, it is not surprising that Hathaway and Shulman have not made an announcement as to the birth of their baby. It has been assumed that the little one made his or her debut at the tail end of 2019, as paparazzi photographed the couple in Connecticut in December carrying a baby carrier covered in a blanket. Neither Hathaway nor Shulman made any comment regarding the photo.
The Princess Diaries actress announced her pregnancy via Instagram in July. Apparently having suffered from infertility problems, Hathaway mentioned that it was not a "straight line" conceiving either of her children. The actress told Entertainment Tonight shortly after her post that she was "really happy" and that getting pregnant the second time around was something she had "been wanting for a while."
Perhaps from the feeling of oversharing Hathaway felt when announcing the arrival of Jonathan in 2016, she has not shared much of the journey of this pregnancy. Per an interview with Jezebel, after posting a shot of the back of the infant's head, which was done to protect his privacy, the Ocean's 8 actress immediately wished she had not shared the photo, saying she had "broken some kind of a seal in inviting people into [my] life." Hathaway vowed if she became pregnant again, she would not share what she was trying to hold so dear.
With award show season just getting underway, Hathaway is sure to wow on more red carpets soon. Given her track record, no doubt, every outfit will be more stunning and more on-trend than the last.
