There’s another baby on the way! Ashley Graham and Justin Ervin announced they’re expecting a second child together.
The plus-size model was the first to share the news with her 13.4 million Instagram followers. Ashley posted an image of herself posing in a foggy field. The America’s Next Top Model alum wore nothing but a long dress shirt that was left unbuttoned as it hit the back of her legs.
In the caption, Ashley admitted the past year has been just as difficult as it has been exciting. However, she described herself as thrilled to see where their family’s next chapter will take them. Many famous faces left congratulatory messages in the comments, including Shay Mitchell, Katherine Langford, Jordyn Woods, and Hailey Bieber.
Ashley also added a camera emoji and tagged her husband’s Instagram account, confirming he shot the image. So far, the videographer hasn’t mentioned his wife’s second pregnancy on his own page. Justin rarely shares images of their family, rather opting to almost exclusively post images from his photoshoots. The last post made to his Instagram account was in early May.
According to Us Weekly, Ashley has been vocal about her desire to give her son Isaac, 17 months, a sibling. In January 2020, shortly after giving birth, she said she wishes she were already pregnant. The model added that she’d been having unprotected sex in hopes of seeing a positive pregnancy test.
“I would get pregnant yesterday if I could,” Ashley said.
Later, this past April, while co-hosting The Ellen DeGeneres Show with Amy Schumer, Ashley admitted she and her husband were trying to conceive. “[We’re] currently working on it,” she said at the time, PEOPLE reports.
Ashley and Justin have been married since 2010. They originally met the year prior while attending church. The model later announced she was pregnant with their first child in August 2019. Their son, Isaac Menelik Giovanni Ervin, was born the following January.
At the time, Ashley used her Instagram Story to reveal the baby’s birth. She shared an image of the newborn to the social media platform, which her husband later shared on his own account. Though she uploaded an image of the newborn, the new mother declined to provide details of her son’s birth. Ashley also waited sometime before confirming her son’s name.
As of now, it’s unclear when Ashley is due to give birth to her second child or what the baby’s sex is. But given her openness about the ups and downs of motherhood online, Ashley likely won’t keep fans in the dark for long.
