Ashley Graham, an American plus-sized model, flaunted her baby bump at the Harper's Bazaar Icons Party on Friday at The Plaza Hotel, New York City.
Ashley rocked a black sleeveless feathered dress, which showed off her cute baby bump on the black carpet. The custom gown was from 16Arlington and was beautifully designed and carried! It had a halter top and a sheer feathered skirt with a thigh-high slit. Her look was completed with a floral black jewelled headband and strappy stilettos. Photos show the celebrity touching and cradling her baby bump throughout the party.
While getting party-ready, Ashley managed to capture some superb pictures and later posted them to her Instagram account, in which she revealed details about her accessories. She posted a photo wearing the headband, saying, “I now understand the headband trend👑💯💕.” The plus-size model came into limelight after appearing on the cover of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue in 2016.
Graham, who has been married to director Justin Ervin since 2010, announced their first pregnancy in August 2019, through social media. Just hours before the Harper's event, she posted a video on Instagram depicting the growing size of her baby bump and how desperately she needs maternity pants.
She wrote, “Please send help!” Graham wrote in the caption. “Need pregnancy workout pants that go above my belly and are durable! And I want fun colors!! I have plenty of black,” alongside the video which was taken during her gym workout. She requested her target audience, i.e. ‘Pregnant women of the world' for advice, saying, “I have not yet realized that I’m growing out of all my stretchy pants. What workout pants do you workout in?”
She showed her underwear to explain the intensity of pain she suffers when the leggings hit her belly. Graham has always advocated woman to embrace their curvy body and feel proud of it. Even after attaining pregnancy, she has kept her followers updated about her vacations and stuff through Instagram.
Ashley also recently posted a picture while vacationing with her husband in New York, aptly captioning the photo, “Staycation." The photo featured the model in a bikini with Ervin touching her baby bump while she sipped iced tea.
The couple announced her pregnancy on their ninth wedding anniversary via an Instagram video, saying, “Nine years ago today, I married the love of my life. It has been the best journey with my favorite person in the world!” she captioned the post. “Today, we are feeling so blessed, grateful and excited to celebrate with our GROWING FAMILY! Happy anniversary, @mrjustinervin. Life is about to get even better.”
