Bachelor In Paradise's Ashley Iaconetti Takes Responsibility For Jade Roper Tolbert's "Crazy" Delivery

"Bachelor in Paradise" couple Ashley Iaconetti and Jared Haibon are still in a state of shock over buddies Tanner Tolbert and Jade Roper Tolbert's second baby's rush delivery!

To be honest, almost everyone who has heard Roper Tolbert's recent delivery story is pretty surprised as well! But being close pals Iaconetti and Haibon say that they have a group chat going on with the other couple and received a text from Tolbert that said "It's go time!" on Monday night from the expectant parents. Haibon told People that they soon saw a video posted on Instagram of Roper Tolbert in the bathtub explaining that her water broke.

Haibon and Iaconetti went back to a mix of worrying and getting exciting for their friends' new baby when they received another text from Tolbert that said "That was crazy." A little perplexed, the couple replied, "Oh no, is it a false alarm?"

To their surprise, Tolbert texted back, "No, the baby's here!"

Well... according to Iaconetti, it wasn't a complete surprise. You see, Iaconetti and Haibon are set to wed soon and of course, Iaconetti wants Roper Tolbert as one of her bridesmaids but if she didn't give birth by August 1, she wouldn't have been able to travel to the wedding for safety reasons.

So Iaconetti and Haibon traveled to Orange County on July 27 to visit the expecting couple and their 3-year-old daughter Emerson "Emmy" Avery. On the same day, Iaconetti and Haibon brought over a "very famous salad" from a restaurant in Studio City. According to Iaconetti, Carson Daly's wife went into labor after eating the same salad and Hilary Duff was spotted eating in the same restaurant often while she was pregnant.

On July 28, Roper Tolbert ate the salad for lunch and it was agreed on by the couples (as a joke) that the salad would be credited if her water broke within 48 hours of salad-eating. Roper Tolbert's water actually broke 55 hours later but Iaconetti still says that she takes a bit of the credit for bringing baby Brooks Easton Tolbert to the world just a little sooner. He arrived on July 29 weighing 7 pounds, 9 ounces and measured 20 inches.

"I was like, that’s not even possible," Iaconetti joked to People. "Do you have the body of a woman who’s delivered 10 times? If there is anyone who can deliver their baby so bravely, it’s Jade. This woman is Superwoman. There’s just something about her that exudes femininity and strength."
