Audrina Patridge is having a tough time at home.
A short clip from The Hills: New Beginnings was recently uploaded onto MTV's official YouTube channel that started as a fun spa day for Patridge and fellow co-star Heidi Montag. But before they could enjoy their well-deserved pamper session, the conversation turned to Patridge's personal life.
Upon Montag's seemingly innocent inquiry, Patridge began to tear up about her divorce from husband Corey Bohan. She then went on to talk about the tedious and ugly custody battle the estranged couple are currently dealing with. The couple have a three-year old daughter together named Kirra. As of October 2017, Patridge has full custody of the little girl.
"On the personal side of things it's just court and custody, just everything at once..." Patridge tearfully explained. "You get so used to having someone there all the time, and then it's just, like, getting used to being on your own. And being a single mom, like really, it's hit me today."
Patridge also brought up former flame Justin Bobby, saying, "Justin, I just feel like he's changing his whole demeanor toward me. Whether we've hooked up or dated in the past or not, how he's speaking of me and treating me despite everything, that's where it's really hurting me."
Throughout the exchange, Patridge was extremely emotional, crying off and on. Montag was simply a shoulder to cry on throughout the exchange. Having said that, she voiced her concerns for Patridge's resurfaced feelings for Bobby in interviews on the show.
It's safe to say that Patridge is currently going through a rough patch in her personal life. She's still trying to finalize her divorce while juggling being on TV, her swimwear line, and adjusting to a new life as a single mom to a toddler. Plain and simple, she's going through a lot of struggles that so many single moms have to experience. Perhaps this clip will open some dialogue as to what it's like.
