Moms Are Praising This Australian Influencer Who Refused To Edit Her Pregnant Bikini Pic

Belle Lucia is finally getting the support that every pregnant woman should be receiving, and especially from their fans, friends, and followers on social media.

The Instagram model is expecting her first baby, and according to new reports, she has been praised for sharing unedited and candid photos of her pregnant body. Belle has previously received criticism for what many people have called either a “too tiny” or barely visible bump during the first and second trimesters of her pregnancy.

According to Yahoo News, Belle, who is from Australia but currently lives full-time in London, shared a new photo of her baby bump and updated her fans on her status. And while she looks as stunning as ever, many of her followers noticed something that they haven’t seen before – veins on her chest. Belle says there’s a good reason for them.

Sharing a pic of herself in a racy bikini, Belle wrote, “I know I got a veiny chest. Happens because your blood volume increases by 50% when pregnant and they go away after pregnancy when your blood volume returns.”

What Belle says is true. Healthline reports that visible veins are actually a good side in a woman’s pregnancy. That means the body is doing its job of transporting nutrients and blood to the developing fetus. They will also lessen after a mom gives birth.

Of course, this isn’t the first time that the Sydney-raised model has made the news for her tiny baby bump. Back in April, the model was forced to defend herself after some critics called her 4-month-old baby bump back then “unhealthy.” Bella took to her Instagram account to explain that every woman has different bodies and that she simply cannot help the way that she is showing.

Ever since the 22-year-old announced her pregnancy, she has been sharing weekly updates with her fans. And while she’s been doing her best to document her progress with her fans, she still get a flood of comments about her baby bump.

However, Belle Lucia isn’t the only Instagram celebrity who has been criticized for her pregnancy and her appearance for that matter. Other social media influencers such as trainer Chontel Duncan, fashion designer Yiota Kouzoukas and lifestyle blogger Hannah Polites have all dealt with the same amount of shaming from their fans and critics on social media as well.
