The newest royal baby is surprisingly not the most-Googled baby of 2019. There were two other babies that outranked baby Archie, and royal fans are not having it. The rankings, however, do make sense with how this year went.

Google has just released their Year in Search for 2019. Their lists always reveal a lot about that year, especially since people want to find out more about the latest trends. A category in their rankings is the top 10 babies. Everyone expected the newest royal to be the most popular baby, but he was beaten by two fictional ones.

The son of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex ranks third on the list of Top 10 Most-Googled Babies. Coming in first is Baby Shark: the song that is forever engraved onto all of our minds. On top of the fact that so many people probably wanted to know what it is, parents probably typed the key words into the Google search bar so many times because their kids want to hear the song. It has truly become one of the most influential songs of 2019.

Coming in second is Baby Yoda. The Mandalorian character has been the star of Disney Plus’ new streaming service, and his adorable moments have been the subject of many memes in 2019. While he isn’t exactly the Yoda we grew up with, he is of the same species as the Jedi Grand Master. So far, we don’t really know where he came from, and fans are eager to find out more about the adorable baby. Although he’s technically 50 years old, he’s still technically a baby in that species' average lifespan.

While baby Archie was not the most-Googled baby of 2019, he definitely blew up the internet. Everyone was so excited for the arrival of the new royal, especially since he is Harry and Meghan’s first child. Even though he wasn’t number one, there was probably a huge number of people who typed his name into the search bar. Royal fans can rest easy knowing he is the most-Googled real baby of 2019; coming in after him are the babies of Kim Kardashian, Cardi B, Trey Songz, Andy Cohen, and Amy Schumer.
