Archie Harrison might be 7thin line for the British throne, but it appears as though Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are already giving him a life that is much different than his older cousins, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.

As a matter of fact, there’s a new report that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex not only want their son to grow up as a private citizen, but they also want him to have a life and a childhood that is as normal as possible.

According to Vanity Fair, while Harry and Meghan are doing a good job of protecting their son’s privacy, he might not grow up with the same royal perks that the Cambridge children will most likely enjoy. While Archie already has a trip to Africa planned, he won’t be able to meet with any heads of state the same way Prince George did with President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama during their visit to Buckingham Palace in 2016.

And while Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis’ ‘job’ will always be members of the royal family, sources say that Harry and Meghan expect Archie to grow up to have his own career and his own job. There’s also speculation that Archie might have a British and American upbringing and that Meghan is looking to enroll him in an American school near their Frogmore Cottage home.

What’s more, Meghan also plans to celebrate both British and American holidays with her new family of three. In fact, there are reports that say the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are planning to have Archie’s christening on the 4thof July. That way Meghan’s mother Doria Ragland and her best friends from the United States can attend this milestone moment with the Sussexes.

With that said, Archie might not end up resenting all of the royal perks that Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis will end up having behind palace doors at Kensington Palace.

Even though he’s 7thin line for the throne, he will have much more freedom than his cousins, which might include special birthday parties with friends, trips to amusement parks and the kind of lifestyle that any happy-go-prince - like his own father - would love to have.
