A baby girl was born in India with an extra set of legs and one more hand. When the twins were delivered, doctors and the family weren’t expecting this condition at all in one of the babies. Hopefully with good surgeons and adequate equipment, the hospital will be able to ensure that she is in good health.

24-year-old Raji Gurjar gave birth in a state hospital in northern India. While she was pregnant, she and her husband, Badhulal, didn’t see the doctor at all. She didn’t attend any check-ups or have scans done to check the condition of her babies. As a result, the pair was shocked when they saw the condition their daughter was born with.

The first baby who arrived had no issues. He was born completely fine, and doctors were not worried about his condition. A few hours later, however, they were surprised to see a baby girl with extra appendages. She was born with extra legs attached to her chest, and there was another hand coming out of her left arm. The baby girl has some breathing issues due to this, so she was put on oxygen support to stabilize her breathing.

Doctors were puzzled, but they came up with a hypothesis. They believe that Gurjar was actually pregnant with triplets, but two fetuses fused in the womb while they were developing. Even though the doctors and her parents were distressed upon seeing the baby girl, the medical professionals are confident they can remedy the situation. Once she is stable, they will be able to remove the extra limbs through surgery.

Gurjar’s case highlights how important it is to constantly check in with your doctor during the pregnancy. While some families may have more access to medical services than others, it’s important to see the doctor as much as possible. There are many things that can affect a pregnancy, and it’s essential to know the current condition of the baby in order to continue doing what’s best for them. Complications can be avoided sooner if both the doctors and the parents know what’s going on inside the mom’s belly.
