Many fans accused Blac Chyna of getting with Rob Kardashian for his money, but now that the two are broken up, she’s refusing to give people that impression.
The short-lived couple only dated from 2016 to 2017. But in that time, they welcomed a daughter, 2-year old Dream. There has been much speculation about Rob’s financial position since their break-up, with some of the craziest rumours saying his mom, Kris Jenner, has been helping to support him. But regardless of his situation, a new report says Chyna isn’t pressuring her ex to pay child support for their daughter.
“It doesn’t matter to Chyna whether or not she’s entitled to any money when it comes to caring for her children,” a source told Hollywood Life. “She really wouldn’t have it any other way than to be in a financial position to be able to support her children on her own.”
The source said that Chyna is not currently getting any money from Rob, even though she’s reportedly entitled to it. She also doesn’t receive child support from her other baby daddy, rapper Tyga, whom she shares 6-year old son King Cairo with. The insider emphasized Chyna has been financially stable since a young age and that won’t change any time soon.
“Blac Chyna has always been an independent woman her whole life. Chyna has always taken care of herself financially from the time she was young and has never been one to lean on anybody else when it comes to being taken care of,” they explained.
Ever since her reality show Rob & Chyna was axed, the celebrity has been making bank with sponsored social media posts and appearances. She also launched her own set of false lashes recently.
The source finished by adding that Chyna could really care less about what her exes are doing. “Whatever Cairo & Dream’s fathers want to do on their own time with their kids is up to them, but Chyna always wants to know she is fully capable of caring for her own,” they explained. “It actually gives her peace of mind that she doesn’t need a man to provide for any aspect of her life, especially when it comes to her kids.”
Fans don’t hear about Rob too much nowadays. Since the spill out from his messy split with Chyna (which included legal ramifications), the star has rarely been spotted out and is also silent on social media. A different source told Hollywood Life that the drama made Rob seriously rethink his priorities for the sake of his daughter.
“His whole life used to center around his own basic needs, but now he puts Dream’s needs before anything else,” the source said. “Rob has a whole new outlook on his future and on his daughter’s future and wants nothing but the best for her.”
