Blake Lively is feeling proud and looking great after losing the baby weight, and it wasn’t an easy journey.

The actress proves she is just like any other woman when it comes to losing pregnancy weight. She wanted to lose the pounds, but it took her time. Oh yes, the former Gossip Girl star is blowing up the Hollywood pregnancy myth where new moms bounce back to their pre-baby bodies weeks after giving birth. This is just another reason why we love her.

Lively took to Instagram to share her amazing 61-pound weight loss the other day. She also shared with fans how long it took her to achieve the body she is proud of and how hard she had to work.

The mom of two gave a special shout out in the post to her trainer, Don Saladino, for kicking her butt and helping her get into shape. Saladino used social media to praise his client for her hard work and dedication.

"Couldn’t be more proud @blakelively! 61 pounds in 14 months after baby number 2! Doesn’t she look awesome?” he captioned on Instagram.

This is not the first time the personal trainer has whipped Lively’s butt into shape. He helped her get swim suit ready for the movie The Shallows after she gave birth to her first daughter James. These two are quite the team and Saladino is not afraid to push the actress in her workouts. However, he understands that mom life is difficult and takes that into consideration when training her.

"If she comes in, and being like any other mom, she was up all night with the baby and didn't sleep well, I'm not going to beat the crap out of her. That's the worst thing to do for someone," he explained.

Blake Lively is looking great and feeling proud after losing 61 pounds of baby weight. Although her weight loss is impressive, what is more impressive is she shared that it took her over a year to make it happen. Yes, Ryan Reynolds wife didn’t magically get her killer bod back after daughter Ines. She worked hard for 14 months to reach her goal. It is nice to see one of Hollywood’s leading ladies be real about baby weight and what it takes to lose it. Hats off to Lively for being just like the rest of us.
