Last week the Metro North region Hospital did a big mistake when they gave a 3 week old baby the wrong breast milk. The baby was tested for Hepatitis A, B and C as well as HIV and the hospital did their second mistake, they gave the results to the media before they gave them to the parents.

Last week, the 3 week old went into the hospital for failure to gain weight. He was given a bottle of milk when a nurse returned and advised them they made a mistake and gave the wrong breast milk to the child. Of course this mistake was announced by the media and the hospital gave the baby they tests to make sure the baby was alright. They then released the information to the media "And I understand that the father and grandmother hadn't received the up-to-date test results as yet and I can confirm with you, Patrick [Condren, the show's host] that the initial Hep A, B,C and HIV tests are all clear, they're the blood tests from the mother who provided the breast milk.''
When asked if the family was aware of the results, Mr Love said "we're really just receiving them as we speak". After informing the media, they then called the family.

They have since released and apology to the family: "We should have communicated with the family first, that is an error on my part." The hospital is now currently under review.
