Caitlyn Jenner may already be a parent to six kids, but it looks like she’s hoping to expand her family with her current girlfriend, Sophia Hutchins.

Caitlyn and Sophia’s relationship has sparked controversy for their large age gap- Caitlyn is almost 70-years old, while her girlfriend is only 22-years old. Despite this fact, it seems the pair are hoping to start a family together, at least according to sources.

“Caitlyn and Sophia have spoken about starting a family together for the last year or so, and while Caitlyn’s already got ten [biologicl and step] children, she’s never had the chance to bring a child up in the role of a mother, which she’s always dreamed of doing,” an insider dished to The Mirror.

Caitlyn already has six biological children from her past three marriages, including Kylie and Kendall Jenner. She was also a step-father to the Kardashian children during her long marriage to Kris Jenner. The source added that Sophia, who is also transgender like Caitlyn, has long desired to be a mother. So, the women are reportedly looking into surrogacy as a possibility.

This isn’t the first time reports have suggested Caitlyn was considering surrogacy. In February of 2018, sources said that Caitlyn was considering using the same surrogate her step-daughter Kim Kardashian had used to welcome her daughter Chicago.

“She loves the idea of raising a child as the mother she has always longed to be. Now she thinks she’s be a totally different parent,” an insider said at the time.

However, it didn’t sound like Kim was so fond of the idea of Caitlyn using the same surrogate that she and her husband Kanye West did. “Kim was furious when Caitlyn reached out to her surrogate,” they explained. “It’s not like there aren’t any other surrogates in the world. Kim is convinced that this is just a way of pushing her buttons, and clearly Caitlyn is just as petty as ever.”

In the past, Caitlyn has expressed regret over not being as involved in her eldest children’s’ lives as she should have been. "I was struggling with myself too much to be a good parent," she said in 2017.

"I can't use that as an excuse because no matter what your problems are, you gotta be there for your kids, and I really wasn't,” Cait continued. “And that's something you regret, later on in life you try to make it up to your kids and say sorry."

Perhaps Caitlyn feels having another child could be a chance to do things the way she wishes she had!
