Cardi B opens up to Vogue and talks about her husband Offset, her daughter Kulture, fashion and living in the Bronx.

Rap superstar Cardi B was featured in Vogue recently and no question was off-limits to the outspoken rapper. Cardi B talked motherhood, marriage, fashion and growing up in the Bronx, New York. Cardi B gained national attention after she was a cast member for Love & Hip Hop New York and landed a record deal shortly after she departed the reality show. Before she was on television she had already established a large following on social media for her controversial hot takes and colorful personality.

The Vogue interview involved 73 random questions that the rapper had to answer on video. In true Cardi fashion, she was open and honest about being a superstar, wife and mother. She conducted the video in her grandmother's home in the Bronx while she cradled her daughter Kulture. Over the summer, Kulture celebrated her first birthday and Cardi shared the photos with cake on her face and her daughter laughing and enjoying herself. Kulture slept for almost half the video while Cardi showed her more vulnerable side. Before Cardi B turned playful, she talked about how difficult motherhood is.

When the topic of motherhood came up and she was asked what was her biggest lesson she from being a mother, Cardi replied, “That you’re never really on time. Things don’t go as you plan, never,” she said as she laughed.

She even wants to have another baby but she stated it is hard to have a baby and go on tour and do all the other things she's expected to do as an artist. She also revealed her fans have discouraged her to have another child. She talked briefly on her childhood and her favorite restaurants to eat at in New York City and Atlanta, which is where she lives with her husband and Migos rapper, Offset. Cardi was more diplomatic when it naming her favorite fashion designers and just preferred to state she likes them all — smart woman.

Things got a little hot and spicy when the subject of her husband came up. She was asked to call her husband which she did, then she affectionately kissed, slurped and licked her phone screen. She admits that she is madly in love with Offset. Offset was asked what are Cardi's good and bad habits and he praised her for being a good mother and taking great care of Kulture. Cardi and Offset have had their ups and downs displayed publicly but for now, they seem to be working it out.
