Carrie Underwood is pregnant with her second child. She shared her good news via Instagram as she discussed her upcoming album and tour.
The country singer used a three-part video to share a lot of fantastic news with her fans. Underwood began talking about her highly anticipated album Cry Pretty, which drops this September. Her discussion included new details about her Cry Pretty Tour 360. The tour won't begin until May 2019, and the singer addressed the reason for the delay. A quick pan of the camera revealed the word "BABY" spelled out in balloons behind her.
Underwood gushed about how thrilled she and her husband Mike Fisher are to be adding another little one to their family. The couple is already parents to 3-year-old son Isaiah, who, according to his mother, is very excited to have a sibling soon.
She did not share any other details about her pregnancy. There was no gender reveal, no indication of how far along she is, or when her second child is due. In fact, the singer didn't even give her followers a glimpse of her growing baby bump.
Life is looking pretty good for the "Before He Cheats" singer. A new album, a new tour, and a baby on the way, all beautiful things happening for Underwood and after the year she has had, the girl deserves some happiness. Her road to recovery after an accident last fall, which left her with almost 50 stitches in her face and a broken right wrist, has been brutal. She faded out of the spotlight while she recovered but since she has been on the mend, Underwood has been open about her struggles after the accident.
The country crooner is putting the past behind her as she looks forward to all of the exciting things happening for the rest of this year and pretty much all of next year. By the time she goes on tour in May, she will be a mother of two, and will likely have another hit record under her belt.
Congrats go out to Carrie Underwood, Mike Fisher, and Isaiah, who will be adding another fish to their little pond!
