Nev Shulman and Laura Perlongo have welcomed their third child – and it’s a boy! The Catfish host announced the good news on Instagram last Saturday with a video of him and the newborn.

“Happy birthday little man,” Nev captioned the clip. In the video, the father-of-three can be seen bending down to kiss and talk to the infant, who was lying in a hospital bed. “You see me?” Nev can be heard saying to the baby. “It’s your daddy.”

The following day, Nev made another post, this time featuring a photo of himself cradling the infant. “Cy Monroe!” the MTV star wrote in the caption, revealing the newborn’s name. The photo showed the newborn dressed in a white sweater and resting on his father’s shoulder.

Nev also referenced his wife in the Instagram post, writing, “Thank you @lauraperlongo for making my life so full and magical.

Laura also made an Instagram post confirming the arrival of their second child on Saturday. She uploaded a blurry image of the newborn being passed to her arms. Laura can be seen with a wide grin on her face, while her face mask is pulled down slightly past her chin.

Nev and Laura have been married since 2017. They’re also parents to a daughter, Cleo, born in 2016, and a son, Beau, born in 2019.

Nev previously opened up about expanding his family in a January 2020 interview with Us Weekly. The Catfish alum revealed that he and Laura were hoping for a third child since they both had multiple siblings. “There’s a plan for a third, for sure,” he said at the time.

The couple later revealed they were expecting a third child in April of this year. Laura first shared the news by uploading several images of herself, Nev, and their two older children. “#BABYNUMBER# COMING IN HOT,” she captioned the photo.

In the post, Laura added that she would be sharing a lot of her pregnancy journey through her OnlyFans account, and directed her followers to click the link in her bio for more information.

Later, in May, Laura confirmed they were having another boy. In a candid Instagram post, she revealed that she had mixed feelings. While she was elated to be having another son, she was sad her daughter would never get to experience having a sister, something she had growing up. She added this is likely their final child.

Cleo had been begging for a sister for years now, I have a sister and...to be honest since this is likely (most definitely) my last baby there was a sense of loss for the second girl I know I’ll never have,” Laura wrote.

Luckily, she went on to say that when they finally told Cleo she would have another brother, the 5-year-old was excited. Hopefully, things have stayed that way now that baby Cy has arrived!
