10 Birdie

Jessica Simpson and Eric Johnson named their third child Birdie. How adorable is that name for a little girl? An insider close to the family told People Magazine that they chose this one because “Birdie is a family name” on the singer’s side. We think that this one is just too cute to pass up.

Birdie is a girl's name of English and Swedish origin meaning "bird." It was added to Nameberry’s Vintage Baby Names list and is just distinctive enough to make it an original choice. Of course, it might gain steam thanks to Jessica’s new bundle of joy.

Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick named their youngest son Reign. It turns out that Kardashian had been considering the moniker for years. She told People, “I actually had the name on our list with Mason. Then with Penelope, I had it on the list but spelled R-A-I-N.”

They ended up choosing a different spelling and bestowing it upon their son. This one ranked #952 on Nameberry’s popularity charts but we predict there will be a surge of kids being named Reign. It also gets extra points for being a gender-neutral option since it would make a sweet name for a girl as well.

Kristin Cavallari and Jay Cutler named their little girl Saylor. We totally love this one for a little girl because it just sounds so spunky. Cavallari told Entertainment Tonight that she found inspiration in an unlikely place: her dog.

She said, "I did hear our daughter's name at a baby store, the owner had named her dog this and she said at the time, 'I wanted to name my little girl this name but I never had a little girl. And I remember thinking 'God I love that name,' and here we are three and a half years later."

7 Hayes

Jessica Alba and Cash Warren named their son Hayes. This one just has a cool vibe to it that we think would make it a solid pick for a little boy. Alba discussed with Jimmy Fallon the strategy they used for selecting the name while she was guest on The Tonight Show.

She said, “So my husband’s name is Cash, that’s his actual real name, so our kids had to have unusual names. That were also H, double syllable, has to be a word, can’t be too weird,” she said, stressing: “It has to be a H!”

6 Daisy

Olivia Wilde and Jason Sudeikis opted for a floral name, Daisy, for their daughter. This one is just so sweet and cheerful. So, how did they settle on the name? They looked to their family for inspiration.

Sudeikis told Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show, "We have an awesome cousin — [fiancée Olivia Wilde]’s cousin by birth, mine by association — named Daisy, and it’s a great name,” he revealed. “I got a weird last name, you know, Sudeikis has got a lot of syllables, a lot of funky things going on there.”

Leave it to Chip and Joanna Gaines to pick a name that is ahead of the trends. The Fixer Upper stars named their fifth child Crew and we think that it’s a super masculine name for a little boy. This isn’t one that you’ll hear being called out on the playground very often.

The name Crew is of boy's name of English origin. It ranked #537 on Nameberry’s popularity charts and was added to their Middle Names For Boys list. We’re thinking that it’s about to see a huge surge on the charts because we all know that Joanna is a trend-setter.

Evan and Ashlee Simpson Ross picked a rockin' name for their little girl. The famous duo named their daughter Jagger. How did they come up with the cool moniker? "The couple had their minds set on this name for a long time," a family insider told E! News. "They wanted something fun and different."

Chrissy Teigen and John Legend are another celeb couple who gave their child a musical name. They named their little guy Miles. This one has some serious vintage credibility.

According to E! News, Legend discussed their inspiration while on the red carpet at the 2018 Billboard Awards. She said, "Miles, of course, is the same name as the great Miles Davis and Chrissy really liked the name Theodore, so we put it all together and had Miles Theodore Stephens. When he came out and we hung out with him for a little while, we were like, 'He looks like a Miles.'"

Khloé Kardashian and Tristan Thompson selected the name True for their daughter. It’s such a distinctive and earnest name and we predict that more and more expectant parents will be snatching this one up. According to Harper’s Bazaar, Khloé revealed that her grandmother was the one who suggested the name when they were brainstorming names that started with a “T." Khloé said, "She told me it was my great-grandfather's first name and my grandfather's middle name. It stuck with me for my entire pregnancy and was the only one I couldn't get out of my head."

1 Camden

Nick and Vanessa Lachey chose a rare name for their first son: Camden. This one is super cute but seems like it will also grow up along with him. Nick sat down with Parents Magazine to discuss the inspiration behind the names of their three children who are all named after destinations.

He said, “It wasn’t necessarily a pre-meditated idea that we’re going to name all our kids after a city. Camden got his name because every time we went to the doctor we drove down Camden lane in LA, and we were just like ‘that’s a really cool name.'"
