Many female actresses have continued filming their movies and television shows while expecting a child. Actresses don't let pregnancy stop them from doing their job of entertaining the masses. While pregnancy can be seen as an inconvenience in Hollywood films, many camera techniques have allowed women to keep filming while also hiding their baby bumps. Here are a few women in Hollywood who continued to film throughout their pregnancies.
8 1. Kerry Washington in Scandal
During the filming of season three of Scandal, Kerry Washington was pregnant with her first child. According to After Buzz TV, the season episode order was cut from 22 to 18 episodes dues to her pregnancy. The during the first few episodes of season six, Washington was pregnant with her youngest child. According to Buzzfeed, she hid her baby bump with oversized coats and Prada bags in a strategic way so viewers of the show could not spot her belly. Throughout her pregnancies on the show, the crew on set even used lamps and other cast members to hide the bump.
7 2. Gal Gadot in Wonder Woman
While Gal Gadot was filming her reshoots for Wonder Woman, she was actually five months pregnant with her second child, according to Looper. Since her bump was pretty noticeable at the time, the special effects department had to work their movie magic to seamlessly hide her bump. The director Patty Jenkins, made note of Gadot's amazing work ethic while filming the Marvel movie. "She's pregnant during part of the movie, in a suit out in a field in the freezing cold in others. There are so many things we asked her to do," she said of Gadot. She sounds like a real-life Wonder Woman.
6 3. Vanessa Morgan in Riverdale
Back in June, Vanessa Morgan announced that she will be expecting her first child, a baby boy. After she began filming Riverdale, she revealed that her pregnancy will carry over to the show. Since she announced the news, fans began to wonder how they would incorporate Vanessa's pregnancy into the show.
Since season five will contain a seven-year time jump, some fan theories believe Vanessa's character, Toni Topaz, will be a surrogate for Kevin, while others think she and her girlfriend, Cheryl, have a family in their future. Vanessa praised showrunner Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa and producers for creating the storyline for her and her character. The new season of Riverdale will sure be interesting with Vanessa's baby bump making an appearance.
5 4. Lisa Kudrow in Friends
Before filming began for season four of Friends, Lisa Kudrow had found out she was pregnant with her first child. Instead of completely hiding the pregnancy, the writers decided to make it apart of her character, Phoebe's storyline. In the show, Phoebe was asked by her step-brother, Frank, and his wife, Alice, if she could be the surrogate for their baby. Phoebe agreed and ended up giving birth to triplets in the end.

Courtney Cox also became pregnant while filming the hit series Friends. For Courtney's character, Monica, there was already a storyline that she could not get pregnant so the crew was forced to hide this baby bump. She became pregnant during the final season of the series and the crew hid her bump by having her character always wearing baggy clothes.

During season five of the popular television series, Sex in The City, Sarah Jessica Parker was pregnant with her first child. Due to SJP's pregnancy, the season was delayed a couple of months and only lasted eight episodes. The pregnancy was not written into the show as it felt inauthentic to her character. So the crew decided to hide her bump under in designer clothing and bags.

According to Cafe Mom, while filming the drama, The Changeling, Angelina Jolie had discovered she was pregnant with her twins. Jolie kept the news a secret as she was already near the end of shooting the film. Her character in the film is a grieving mother who just lost her son and made her want to be a mother again, even though she already had four children. A few months after filming was completed, Jolie welcomed her twins, Vivienne and Knox.
1 8. Julia Louis-Dreyfus in Seinfeld
During the 10 years Seinfeld was on the air, Julia Louis-Dreyfus became pregnant twice while acting as her character, Elaine. Since Elaine was never pregnant in the show the crew hid her bump under loose clothing and baggy coats. Luckily the baggy clothes look was Elaine's signature, making it more difficult for the viewers to realize she was pregnant.
