May has always been a month which signals something new coming — new summer, a new time in which nature awakens and the weather grows warmer and more prosperous for people and animals. Therefore, many people give birth in this pleasant month, and celebrities are no exception.
Luckily the COVID-19 pandemic hasn't stopped celebrity parents from welcoming their adorable children into the world even in May 2020. From first-time mom and dads to experienced parents, a lot of celebrities went through the significant experience of giving birth last month or becoming dads, sometimes again. 10 Dane DeHaan
The American actor Dane DeHaan looks younger than he is that's why it's easy to not realize he's actually a dad and has been married to his wife, actress Anna Wood since 2012. DeHaan is the father of two. His first child, daughter Bowie Rose, was born in April 2017. In May 2020, DeHaan and Wood welcomed their second child to the world, a boy named Bert Apollo, who was born on the 28th. According to Anna Wood, Bert Apollo was born weeks early but luckily, the happy family seems to be doing fine.
9 Maya Vander
The Selling Sunset star Maya Vander also became a second-time mom. Vander gave birth to a baby girl on the 21st of May 2020. She gave the name Elle to her daughter and announced her birth on social media. Vander already has a thirteen-month-old son named Aiden. Vander also shared the detail that unlike Aiden, Elle was born very quickly, after only ten minutes of pushing or so.
8 Betsy Wolfe
Betsy Wolfe is a Broadway actress and now she took on a brand new role — the one of a first-time mom! Aged 38, Wolfe has been married to Adam Krauthamer since December 2017 and she gave birth to a daughter named Poppy on the 20th of May 2020. The happy new mom shared the news online and wrote: "Meet Poppy, our beautiful baby girl and quarantine pal for life."
7 Lindsay Ellingson
Another first-time mom is the 35-year-old model Lindsay Ellingson. Ellingson has been married to Sean Clayton since 2014.
They welcomed their first child, a baby boy named Carter John, on the 15th of May 2020. Carter John was born at 11:21 pm, weighed 7 lbs., 12 oz. and measured 20,5 inches. According to Ellingson, the delivery went smoothly and safely.
6 Usain Bolt
One of the fastest men alive, comic books aside, became a first-time dad on the 17th of May 2020. Usain Bolt and his girlfriend of six years Kasi Bennett welcomed a baby girl whose name remains unknown at this point. The couple also hasn't announced the birth publicly yet, probably taking a break to enjoy the exciting new times.
5 Jasmine Villegas
The singer Jasmine Villegas gave birth to her second child, a baby boy, this May. Villegas had her first child, a daughter Ameera Reign, in February 2016. Her baby boy is called Zayne and his father is Omar Amir. Villegas revealed on Twitter that she went through a cesarean section and also shared that recovering is the hardest part, writing: "I can barely walk and move."

The former Harry Potter star, British actor Rupert Grint, became a first-time dad when his girlfriend, actress Georgia Groome, gave birth to a baby girl in May 2020.
The couple is very private about their personal life, and that includes their daughter, so they hadn't shared her name with the general public just yet. However, it has recently become public knowledge that Grint and Groome have been dating since 2011.
3 Melissa Rauch
Known best for her work in the successful sitcom The Big Bang Theory, the American actress Melissa Rauch gave birth to her second child, a baby boy named Brooks, on the 4th of May 2020. Rauch has been married to Winston Rauch since 2007 and the couple welcomed their first child, a daughter Sadie in December 2017. Funny fact - both Sadie and her little brother Brooks was born on the 4th, only different months. Rauch shared the news online and she wrote: "I am incredibly thankful and overjoyed to announce the birth of our son, Brooks Rauch, who we just welcomed into the world and directly into our hearts."

America Ferrera is an American actress best known for her titular role in the TV show Ugly Betty. Ferrera has been married to Ryan Piers Williams since June 2011. The couple had their first child, a boy Sebastian on the 29th May 2018 and now welcomed another May baby into the world. Their daughter Lucia Marisol was born on the 4th of May 2020. As Ferrera wrote online: "LUCIA MARISOL WILLIAMS arrived on May 4th to give me my Mother’s Day hugs and kisses herself. Mama, Dada & Big Brother are over the moon to welcome her bright light to our family."
1 Elon Musk
Finally, the famous businessman Elon Musk became a dad for the whopping sixth time! Musk already has five sons with Justine Musk: twins Griffin and Xavier (2004), and triplets Damian, Saxon, and Kai (2006). He and his current partner, the Canadian singer Grimes, have welcomed their first mutual child, a baby boy on the 4th of May 2020. And the name they chose? X Æ A-Xii — which made the internet wild. Either way, according to Musk, the new mom and the baby are doing well.
