It wasn't that long ago when former reality TV star turned fashion designer and author Lauren Conrad expanded her family. She and husband William Tell- who are already parents to their two-year-old son Liam- welcomed their second child, Charlie Wolf Tell, back on October 9th, 2019. Needless to say, everyone in the Tell household is still busy adjusting to their new life as a family of four.

One of the biggest and most important parts of welcoming a new baby into your family is having a great nursery. With Conrad being a lifestyle expert (and having already had a baby before), she knew exactly what to do. As she describes it, she created the perfect "calm" nursery for little Charlie Wolf's arrival.

"We started working on the nursery before we knew if we were having a boy or a girl, so we wanted to keep it gender-neutral," she explained in a recent interview.

When it came to the nursery's design inspiration, Conrad was inspired by her nonprofit fair-trade marketplace, Little Market. With Pure Salt Interiors, she chose "beachy" accents for the gender-neutral room. Such accents included a custom candle, a handwoven basket, a mudcloth, and a quilt. Most everything was handmade by artisans around the world.

"I love the wallpaper we chose," Conrad gushed. "I also really like the surfboard we found. It’s from Agave Surf, a local company that makes them from agave wood.

"I love how calm the nursery feels. I really wanted it to be a relaxing environment for the kids to begin and end their days in."

Overall, the nursery is super chill yet beautiful. It's the perfect room to raise a baby, as well as where they rest whenever necessary. With it now complete and her second son here, Conrad is now focusing her energy on raising her children well.

"I have loved watching Liam grow and develop his own personality, and I can’t wait to do it all over again. And I’m so excited for Liam to have a little brother to grow up with," she concluded.
