By all reports the baby was not due until June, so the happy parents got to meet their bundle of joy earlier than expected. Teigen has recently expressed her desire to meet her baby and have her pregnancy be over - a sentiment many women can relate to. This was likely a nice surprise for the model, who has posted numerous times her displeasure with being uncomfortably "with child".
Teigen and her musician husband, John Legend, have not been shy about their excitement at adding to their family. The couple has been open about their hardships with fertility, and all of the effort that it has taken for them to have children.

The emotional tolls on a couple that is having problems getting pregnant can be steep; IVF is not an easy process. It is painful, it is tough, and it does not always work. But Teigen has shared her story over and over again, in the hopes that it will help other women who are struggling.
"You hear stories about IVF working the first try. But you’ll hear a lot more stories about when it takes a few times,” Teigen told The Cut. “Ours didn’t work the first time, and it was devastating. You realize that a lot of it is luck, and you can’t blame things on yourself”.
Teigen's honesty is a reason that many of her fans are so drawn to her - she is beautiful and successful and yet she shares her vulnerable moments. She is not afraid to say something silly or have double chins in a photo. She laughs loudly and wildly, and is someone that many women can relate to. She has a gorgeous husband who seems to dote on her, an adorable daughter, and a cute dog, too!
Can we just admit that all of us secretly want to be Chrissy Teigen?
Teigen has a huge following on social media and has used it to make many of her family's big announcements. It was her two-year-old daughter, Luna, who told the world that she was going to be a big sister. In a video on Instagram, Luna was seen pointing at her mama's belly and shouting, "Baby!".
There are no details yet on baby number two - no name, no birth weight, nothing. But stay tuned. We will keep you updated.
Congrats to the Teigen/Legend family! We cannot wait to see pictures!
