Is Chrissy Teigen and John Legend’s daughter prepping for a future in the entertainment industry? That’s what a lot of fans can’t help but wonder as the model mom recently shared an adorable clip of her daughter Luna practicing Saturday Night Live’s iconic opening line onstage. Teigen and Legend also share a son named Miles.
Even though it’s a moment that many comedians dream of experiencing for themselves, Luna got to do it while wearing a star-patterned shirt with a white tutu skirt. Proud mom Teigen captured the entire moment on her Instagram account and shared it with her fans.
Clearly, the 3-year-old tot has just as much confidence as her famous parents. She had no problems walking on stage and pretending to be the star of the show. She also grabbed a mike and looked out to the crowd before continuing. Little Luna started off by saying, “Live from New York” before stopping mid-phrase. She was then helpfully prompted to continue the phrase. Legend can be heard chuckling in the background. She then handed off the mike to her parents, who appeared to be very overjoyed with her mini-performance.
Teigen was equally proud of her daughter. She captioned her photo with, “An emotional moment for me. My baby doing the dream.” Legend also wrote “My baby” in the comments section.
Of course, this isn’t the first time that Luna has been in the spotlight. She also accompanied her father on the set of the hit singing competition show The Voice earlier this month. Luna looked equally as cute while helping her father judge the upcoming performances while sitting on his lap in the judge’s chair. Legend even shared a photo of the moment on his Instagram account and added in the caption section that Luna had a great time scrutinizing the night’s performances.
Just recently, Teigen admitted that she’s thankful for the opportunity to bring her children to work with her, especially since many of the NBC sets are family-friendly these days. Because both she and John Legend work a lot, they try to bring their children to work with them as often as they can. While it’s not always easy, they manage to make it work.
Teigen told People Magazine, “John and I work on the same lot so we get to see each other a lot. I walk over to The Voice, he’ll walk over to Bring The Funny, and I have a little daycare that they’ve set up for me.”
