You can be as accommodating, sweet, and generous as you want as a mom, but some kids will still find faults with you. As Teigen tweeted herself, her daughter’s obsession with Scooby-Doo movies means that she has a lot to live up to in terms of her fame. Teigen is known for acting and appearing in various TV shows and movies, but in her daughter’s eyes, if she hasn't been in a movie that relates to her on some level, it doesn't even matter. Kids definitely have a way of bringing you back down to earth.

9 Her Views On Kids’ Eating Habits Are On Point

Don't pretend that your toddler never went through a phase of eating just one steady meal for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, respectively. Teigen tweeted a faux kids’ menu that shows exactly the sorts of food young kids typically eat and it’s so realistic. The meals include chicken tenders, noodles, and grilled cheese. While there’s nothing wrong with these meals by any means, it’s a realistic interpretation of what picky toddlers and even choosy older kids put their moms through when they deny any other meals that aren't in their top five favorites.

8 The Struggle Of Being A Parent At Work

Teigen’s husband, John Legend, is one of the celebrity coaches on The Voice. During the taping of one of his episodes in November, Teigen tweeted a picture of him on-set with their kids. Because Teigen herself couldn't be there, she was privy to some behind the scenes photos and it’s something a lot of parents experience.

7 She’s Legitimately Confused About The Easter Bunny

As much as some parents blindly follow holiday traditions, like the one involving the Easter bunny, for their kids, Teigen is among the moms who don't quite get it. She tweeted her confusion about what the purpose of the bunny and hiding eggs is for kids and what the overall allure is. And as fun as the whole experience might be for kids, she isn't alone in her confusion. When she tweeted about it, other parents replied with their own questions about the Easter bunny and even agreed that the whole thing can border on creepy for kids, despite the fun they might have.

6 Kids Just Can't Be Serious

No one expects toddlers to take serious conversations seriously or to even appreciate their parents as much as they should. They’re still too young to understand it most of the time. Teigen explained in one tweet that she tried to tell her daughter Luna how special she was. But, in true little kid fashion, her daughter couldn’t be serious for the few seconds it would take to reciprocate in the heartfelt moment. Still, Teigen found the humor in it and in one reply to a follower’s comment, she referred to kids as “complete weirdos.” Most moms would agree.

It’s true for a lot of moms, who have to wear special hospital underwear home with a sanitary pad inside to help with any postpartum discomfort and bleeding. It’s unpleasant all around, but at least Teigen was able to see the humor in it all.

4 It Takes A Lot To Impress Kids

Both of Teigen’s kids are still toddlers who probably don't understand the height of their parents’ fame. But that didn’t stop Teigen from tweeting their reactions to the news that Legend was named People magazine's Sexiest Man Alive in 2019. In the video Teigen tweeted, their son Miles is off playing somewhere in the house without a care in the world and their daughter just wants to watch a movie. As far as kids go, those are both appropriate responses, especially since they are unimpressed by most things that don't have much to do with them.

3 Installing A Car Seat Is No Joke

Giving birth is hard no matter the route you need to go to do it. But, as Teigen tweeted shortly before the birth of her daughter, installing a car seat is likely on par with how difficult it is. That might be stretching it, but there’s no denying that installing an infant car seat takes lots of patience, muscle, and tears to get it right. Of course it’s necessary to be able to safely install the car seat, but Teigen wasn't completely wrong with her assessment.

2 The Toddler Stage Is So Much Fun

Having a baby in the house means a whole new adventure for new and even experienced parents. But when Teigen’s son Miles celebrated leaving the baby stage and entering the toddler stage, she celebrated on Twitter. She tweeted that she was ready for the next stage, which includes using eating utensils instead of fingers for food, and most moms would have to agree. Every stage kids go through has its ups and downs, but there’s something so freeing about officially getting out of the baby stage.

1 Preschool Is A Weird Place

When Teigen signed her daughter up for preschool, she shared on Twitter a portion of the standard questionnaire she was given. One of the questions included an inquiry about what her daughter calls a bowel movement. Teigen joked that it must be hard for preschool teachers to keep track of what each kid in class calls poop. But really, it's a valid question, even if you have to hope that most kids will eventually learn to call it poop rather than “boom boom” or something equally silly.

There is something to be said for those memes and tweets about motherhood at are so funny they’re true. It’s only natural for someone like Teigen to talk about motherhood with a humorous slant, even if sometimes the woes of being a mom seem anything but funny. Still, there’s a certain comfort in seeing a celebrity deal with some of the same highs and lows of being a mom.
