Some of the people that were in attendance included Anstead’s 8-year-old daughter Taylor Reese, her mother Laurie Haack and her sister Carly Haack as well as several members of her family. Ant decided to surprise her by showing up at the very end of the baby shower.

According to Yahoo News, guests had the pleasure of participating in many DIY activities that included planting succulents and making their own bath salts. They also snacked on blue donuts and cake from Tammy’s Kitchen. The activities were provided by Golden Arrow Events and Designs. The expectant mother couldn’t help but mention that they provided some of the cutest craft stations that she’s ever seen. Her 3-year-old son Brayden James was also there and according to his mother, scoping out the dessert bar throughout the entire show. Anstead added, “Baby Anstead is so blessed to enter into such a loving family — we all can’t wait to meet him!”

Earlier this summer Christina Anstead admitted that getting acupuncture helped her get pregnant again after her divorce from her ex, Tarek El Moussa. She said that after she and El Moussa struggled to get pregnant the second time around, so she thought that she’d never become a mother again. That’s why she decided to give acupuncture a try.

Anstead, who is also a stepmom to Ant’s two children, says that one of the reasons why she struggled to conceive was because of all the day-to-day stress that she had to deal with as a working mom. This time around she promises to spend more time with the kids and will do all of the things that come with taking care of a newborn at home, like diaper duty and nighttime feedings.
