Christina Anstead says she is “back to bed rest” after overdoing it at her daughter's birthday party. The Christina on the Coast star welcomed a cute baby boy, Hudson, via C-section on  September 6 with husband Ant Anstead. New moms should rest after giving birth.

But Anstead did the opposite and now regrets it. She posted a selfie holding her son on afteron Instagram and captioned it, “Well… I’m a moron.” She had organized her 9-year-old daughter Taylor's birthday party just after a few days of delivery. She did numerous errands over that weekend but didn't realize she would be bed-ridden after that.

"I felt totally fine since one week postpartum — like zero pain… but I was resting and taking it easy… and then I threw Tay a bday party and was lifting and running around all weekend… and yesterday I woke up like oh crap… and today oh crap turned into oh (expletive). I definitely hurt myself," she wrote.

Having experienced so much pain, she pleaded with postpartum mums to be careful and always give first preference to self-healing – “don’t overdue it” – she emphasized. The party was over the top, and the proud mom said that the entire "third-grade class" had attended the slime pool party.

She added that she likes to show her love for her family by pleasing them as much as possible. "I always want to be the people pleaser in the family and make sure everyone knows how much I care about them — but in doing so I wasn’t taking care of myself," she wrote. "Back to bed rest and baby cuddles." The Flip or Flop star says that the C-section incision area is fine, but she feels pain in her left abdomen, and it "hurts bad."

Christina has a 3-year-old son Brayden with ex-husband and Flip or Flop co-star Tarek El Moussa whereas Ant has a son and a daughter from his previous marriage. The proud mother had shared the moment the siblings first met on Instagram the day after the delivery. Brayden, Taylor and ex Tarek El Moussa were in the pic watching the new baby boy. Along with the photo, Christina wrote, "Perfectly captured the candid moment of Tay and Bray meeting baby Hudson yesterday – just a little excited."

We just hope she recovers soon and we look forward to more family pictures. We would also like to urge postpartum moms to be careful and take well-desered time off after delivery.
