Christina Milian may only be halfway through her second pregnancy, but the singer actress admits she’s already feeling ‘exhausted.’
The celebrity took to social media to open up about the struggles she’s faced during her first trimester, revealing she can barely keep her eyes open most of the time. “Being preggo for the second time around is def a WHOLE NEW EXPERIENCE after getting thru the long and completely exhausting 1st trimester,” the 37-year old captioned an Instagram post. “Rightfully so as my body is generating an awesome human being.”
While this will be Christina’s second child, it will be her first with her boyfriend Matt Pokora. It was only late last month the lovey-dovey couple revealed their exciting baby news with matching social media posts.
Christina had hinted the two were thinking of starting a family this past May when she opened up about wanting more children, though it sounds like two kids is her perfect number.
“I do have the desire to have more children in the future,” she told Hollywood Life at the time. “Probably just one more because I know the energy it takes to raise a child. I know that I just want to be able to experience each child, which is a gift. I definitely want to have another child in the future.”
Matt, who is a French musician, relocated to Los Angeles last year in order to be closer to his girlfriend. It sounds like things are going swimmingly between the pair, as Christina couldn’t help gush about her man to Hollywood Life. “He’s honest, and we have a really great relationship,” she revealed. “This is different than anything I’ve ever experienced and I’m really happy that the universe brought us together.”
Christina already has a 9-year old daughter, Violet, whose father is her ex-husband, The Dream. The pair were married from 2009 and 2011, and the singer has confirmed their pregnancy did take her by surprise. She recently told Us Weekly that her daughter can’t wait to have a younger sibling on her mother’s side (and evidently she’s hopping it’s a brother!).
“She has several siblings from her dad’s side, [but] now she gets to be the boss and in control when it comes to me, so she’s excited about it,” Christina told the media outlet. “She’s always rubbing my belly now. She thinks it’s gonna be a boy. So she already has her dibs in for that, so we’ll see.”
As of now, Christina and Matt are waiting until their child is born in order to reveal the gender.
