American Singer Ciara has been documenting her pregnancy during the COVID-19 pandemic Make no mistake that being pregnant right now adds a whole new experience to motherhood. However, the "Level Up" singer is using her social media platform to show what it is like to be pregnant during a global pandemic. The mom to 6-year-old Future and 3-year-old Sienna is expecting her third child, which she revealed will be a boy, with her NFL husband Russell Wilson. The singer often posts her family life on social media and her fans love seeing her, Wilson and the kids having special family moments.

However, pregnancy isn't easy, and even though it seems Ciara is carrying hers with ease, she admits after two kids this pregnancy is a lot different in more ways than one. Recently, Ciara posted a video of her at the doctor's office on Instagram. In the video clip, Ciara is wearing an N95 mask during her ultrasound visit. Ciara noted that because of the pandemic, her husband was not allowed to be with her for her doctor's visit and had to wait in the car. Ciara also used the opportunity to have other pregnant women who follow her to chat with her doctor to ask questions on her Instagram Live.

"And you start hearing these stories about moms not being able to give birth with their partner. They stopped that immediately to my understanding, but the amount of people that come to the hospital during the birth has been limited," she said. "So Russ is going to be not only dad but the videographer and the photographer. He is going to be everything online. But, you know, we are figuring it all out and I'm just really big on trying to find positivity in the mix of a moment that could be negative or feel heavy. I am always trying to find a way to get to that, so I have not been worried as much as I probably could have."

Ciara told ET that not having her husband present made her realize that a lot of pregnant women will have to deliver by themselves and without their partners. Even though she is maintaining a positive attitude, she is preparing for how the pandemic will impact her birth. Until then, Ciara and the Wilson family are practicing social distancing and are self-isolating. Ciara also talked about how she and her kids are keeping busy while they are in the house.

Ciara is also using this time to give to other moms, too.  Ciara recently partnered with the USO and Munchkin baby products to surprise the military wives with virtual baby showers for Mother’s Day. The wives are based at Fort Hood in Texas, which is where Ciara was born. "I wanted to give them something, a token of appreciation, a token of love, letting them know that someone's thinking of them," she stated. "And hopefully a little piece of joy or a little bit of light in the midst of this time that we're in. We gotta figure it out, and I gotta prepare my own virtual baby shower for myself."
