Claire Danes looked amazing as she walked the red carpet for her new film, A Kid Like Jake, and she proudly showed off her growing baby bump.
She is not only embracing motherhood in her new film, but Danes is preparing to be a mother of two in real life.
“I’m quite pregnant, but feeling good so far,” the star said at the premiere.
Danes and husband Hugh Darcy are expecting their second child together. She spilled the beans in an interview on The Howard Stern Show last month. It was her official announcement.

“I’m deep into my second trimester,” the actress shared with the shock jock.
Later that same day, she told Jimmy Fallon how she was trying to hide her pregnancy during her first trimester while filming her hit show, Homeland. However, she kept falling asleep because she was so exhausted, which began to become quite embarrassing.
“I was filming during the first trimester which is kind of my least favorite phase because you just feel horrible. You feel just rotten and you’re not allowed to say why. I was filming quite a lot but just inadvertently falling asleep all the time. And it was embarrassing,” the actress explained of dealing with pregnancy and work before telling people she was pregnant.
Now that she is over the tired sleeping phase, Danes’ second pregnancy is going just fine. She admitted her little one is simply just chilling in the womb, except for when she eats chocolate.
“It’s just chilling in there. It gets a little excited when I have a chocolate bar. It’s moving and kicking. I love that part. It’s like a firework show. And a little creepy. It’s like an alien being in there! I’m cohabiting!” the My So Called Life star revealed.
Claire Danes and Hugh Darcy are already parents to 5-year-old Cyrus Michael Christopher. Neither she nor her husband has shared if they know what gender the baby they are currently expecting will be. If they do know their baby’s sex, then they are doing a great job of keeping it on the down low. Danes did not use any gender specific pronouns during her recent interviews.
