Cyrus Michael Christopher Dancy (fancy name for the young Dancy!) is only five years old and his mama is pregnant with a new baby, but to hear him tell it, it's "his baby!"
In April, Danes was a guest on The Howard Stern Show and announced that she and Hugh Dancy are expecting their second child. She also said that five-year-old Cyrus is beyond excited for his sibling to join the Dancy fam and has been referring to his future little brother or sister as "his baby."

People reported that the 39-year-old Homeland star went on Stern’s program to promote her show and while discussing a nude scene on the show, Stern said that he would feel self-conscious about his body in the position that Danes was in. The topic of her pregnancy came up soon after that and Danes announced her pregnancy with her second child, saying that she is “seriously preggo." Stern then asked if the second baby was planned or a happy accident.
“Yeah, this was planned,” Danes said. “We’ve been wanting another kid for a while and it happened."
Danes decided not to tell Stern and his listeners the sex of the baby, wanting to keep the gender a secret until the right time. But she did say that if the baby is a girl, she would consider naming her “Howardina” in honor of Stern. Just joking… we hope!
“I’m deep into my second trimester,” Danes said. She also admitted that Stern's radio show was her official announcement of her second pregnancy.
It's clear that Danes enjoys every second of being a mom to her young son. She told E! News that she really enjoys being silly with Cyrus.
“I just hang out with him and make dumb faces, which is what I do for a living anyway,” she said. “We took Cyrus to his first movie for his birthday in December, like a movie in the movie theater. We saw Peanuts and it was maybe my first movie that I saw in the theater since he was born.”
We are so happy to see this little family expanding, and we cannot wait for more details about their latest addition.
