Before you consider skipping your workout today, bear in mind that this little guy has been cranking out push-ups since he was six months old.
Going to the gym, working out, going for a run. For a great many of us, it is easier said than done. By the time we get home from work and have something to eat, the last thing we want to do is something that feels as if it is just more work. Perhaps if trips to the gym had been instilled in us from a very young age, we would think differently.
Unless you are a young athlete of some sort, regular trips to the gym aren't something you should feel as if you should be doing until you're an adult. That is unless your mom needs to pay the gym a visit and you have no other option but to go along with her. That's where Janzen Hall and her son Dreiling come in.
Janzen is a CrossFit trainer in Chanute, Kansa, reports Cosmopolitan, so every now and again she will naturally have to bring Dreiling along with her. At six months old, you wouldn't expect Dreiling to make much use of the space and equipment at his disposal while his mom is busy working. However, that's where you'd be wrong.
While cooling down after a workout, Janzen had her son alongside her and despite his young age, he proceeded to mimic what his mom was doing. Janzen's sister caught the whole thing on video and as you can see, Dreiling proceeds to crank out a few push-ups. His performance is pretty impressive too, holding a plank position for a few seconds each time he pushes himself up off the floor.
While many of us are waiting for our little ones to crawl at this age, Dreiling is busy getting a workout in. Truth be told, Dreiling is apparently gearing himself up to crawl by doing what he is doing in the video above. The little guy obviously needs to be up on all fours to do so and while he has that part down pat, he hasn't quite mastered the moving forwards and backwards aspect of it.
