Recently, one father was a real sport when he went to the store to pick up sanitary pads for his daughter... and their text exchange ended up going hilariously viral.
Fathers and daughters have a special relationship. He's her big hero. She's daddy's little princess. But when it comes to certain topics like periods, usually both parties like to keep a tight lid on that secret. Then again, sometimes it's tough especially when dads and daughters live together and well, let's say, Mother Nature's due date comes a bit earlier than expected and the daughter isn't exactly prepared and dad is already at the store.
In that case, it just makes sense to suck up the uncomfortable feelings and ask dad to pop on by the sanitary napkin section and pick up a rather embarrassing package.
That is exactly what happened to a dad and daughter duo in the U.K. recently. Tia Savva sent her beloved daddy to their local Tesco store, according to good.is, to pick up some pads and Mr. Savva had a heck of a time finding just what Tia required.
The two went back and forth for a while until finally, he got the goods for his precious girl. Being the awesome dad that he is, he even decided to bring home some "choc" for her, too. Good choice, dad!
The text exchange begins with Mr. Savva (rather impatiently) telling Tia that he is there and asking where to find what she needs and asking her to hurry up because there is a woman staring at him.
By the way, we are pretty sure that she wasn't staring at him and that it was purely his self-consciousness that made him think she was staring at him but is, in fact, she was noticing him, it was likely only to notice "Oh, there's a man looking to buy feminine products for his wife or daughter, how sweet." There's also a pretty funny part where Tia tells her dad to get "Always" and he says "Always what??" to which she replies, "No, they're called Always." Classic.
Thank you, Mr. Savva, for being willing to be red-faced in the feminine hygiene aisle for your darling daughter. You are a true man!
