Boy Meets World actress Danielle Fishel is thrilled to be able to bring her baby boy home, according to E! Online. The star, who played Topanga on the hit series, gave birth to her son a month early last month. In an Instagram post, Fishel explained that her water broke the night before she was due to go on maternity leave. As the tot arrived earlier than planned, everyone was understandably anxious. He was cared for in the NICU at the Children's Hospital.
In another touching post to update her followers, the actress thanked the staff for taking care of her son. Although it was a terribly trying time for her and the family, Fishel says that it helped them to realize what a great support unit they have around them. She went on to send love to every parent who has ever - or who currently is - spending time in a neonatal unit with their little one.

Adler is 3 weeks old today and officially a NICU graduate! Thank you to everyone at @childrensla and especially our primary nurses @cassiejosharrod and @quyenlyyy. We never wanted to know this hospital and its staff so well but now that we do, we can say with certainty there is no better place for children with medical needs. Now we hope to never be back. :) Finally, our love and hugs to every single parent who has ever spent time in the NICU and especially those we left behind today. ❤️❤️❤️
The new mom excitedly welcomed her son to the world in the post too, letting her followers in on some of his personality traits that are already emerging. Three-week-old Adler apparently really doesn't like a poopy diaper (although, who does) and loves bath time...presumably directly after those poopy diapers. Like many moms with kids that graduate from the NICU, Fishel was quick to heap praise on all of the doctors, nurses and other staff members, calling them "loving," "warm," and "intelligent."
Now that baby Adler is home, Fishel and her husband can finally start enjoying life as a family of three. The effect that a premature birth can have on parents is huge, but the 38-year-old hopes that bonding time can help ease the transition. When one follower asked her what the first thing she hoped to do was, she hilariously replied, "Target." No doubt Danielle's followers will be kept up to date with every single step.
Fishel has been married to writer and comedian Jensen Karp since November of last year. Prior to this, the PopSugar host was married to Tim Belusko. The marriage ended in divorce in 2015 after spending 7 years together.
