TV personality, chef, author and mom of three Daphne Oz is embarking on her next project: podcasting. The 33-year-old former co-host of The Chew is expecting her fourth child and has had her fair share of interesting parenting experiences.

The podcast titled Mom Brain also features fellow mom of four Hilaria Baldwin. The episodes range from talking to experts in the field to raising awareness about autism, to practical advice about getting kids to sleep better, and making life easier for moms.

Part of the reason Oz wanted to start a podcast was because she wanted other mothers to know they were a part of a supportive community. She tells Beach Modern Luxury that she and Hilaria Baldwin became good friends through their kids. Both were going through similar experiences as they grew their families. Baldwin is married to actor Alec Baldwin. She is a yoga instructor, cookbook author and also a stepmom to Alec’s daughter Ireland. And like all moms, she brings a slightly different perspective to the conversation.

By sharing their best parenting ideas and conquering challenges, they eventually came up with the idea for the podcast, which airs once a week. A new episode usually drops on Wednesdays. Sometimes the best way to cope with a tough day of kids yelling and throwing tantrums is to talk to another mom. That's what Mom Brain hopes to provide because Oz says that motherhood can often be lonely.

The podcast, which began last fall, has featured a number of celebrity guests, including actress Julia Stiles, best known for 10 Things I Hate About You, Save the Last Dance and Riviera, television host and journalist Sara Haines, and former professional boxer Laila Ali, among others. All are mothers who have their own wisdom to share with listeners as a part of the conversation.
