At Halloween, most parents tend to focus on their kids, who have been anxiously waiting to get dressed up and go trick-or-treating. Yet Halloween is not just for kids. It’s the one holiday of the year where parents can get a little crazy and have fun with their friends.

This year, Disneyland has decided to throw an adult-themed Halloween party that will include cocktails, dancing and naturally trick-or-treating. Known as the Oogie Boogie Bash, the party will be held at Disney’s California Adventures Park, where parents and other adults can let loose at the happiest place on Earth. Since this an after-hours event, adults planning to stay at the resort with young kids may want to arrange for a babysitter so they can enjoy the party after their children are settled in for the night.

From September 17 through October 31, a section of the park will be transformed into an Oogie Boogie-themed playground. Inspired by The Nightmare Before Christmas villain, the area will include a trick-or-treating path where partygoers can fill their bags with candy from cauldrons. The event will also feature other Disney-inspired attractions such as a Villainous! World of Color show, a Descendants-themed DescenDANCE Party, a Frightfully Fun Parade and a Halloween-inspired Redwood Creek Challenge Trail.

Though kids can also join the fun, Disney had planned the event to cater to adults. For example, the park’s Cathay Circle, a movie theater and restaurant, will be decorated with Maleficent’s vines and transformed into “an immersive haunted experience complete with sounds and illusions.” The restaurant will serve a variety of Halloween food items and cocktails.

Some of the delicious Halloween-themed snacks that you can enjoy at the park so you’re not drinking on an empty stomach include sweet potato hand pies, graveyard cupcakes, Oogie Boogie churros, Maleficent candy apples, cauldron cake pops, Oogie Boogie krispie treats, Hades hot dogs, mummy donuts, and Cruella de Ville brownies.
