British long distance swimmer Adam Walker was one with the dolphins as he decided to the face the Cook Strait, one of the world's toughest oceans.

During his swim he spotted a six foot shark beneath him. As he started to panic, the unthinkable happened, a pod of approximately 10 dolphins came and swam next to him and spooked off the shark and possibly saving Walker.

The dolphins stayed and swam next to him for the next hour. Ironically, Adam Walker was swimming to raise money for the Whale and Dolphin Conservation Charity!
