Although Drake and his baby mama Sophie Brussaux are often private when it comes to photos of their son, the proud parents shared a new photo of Adonis on his second birthday.

The famous toddler celebrated his second birthday on October 11th. Drake and Sophie shared a few photos from the family-friendly event. But perhaps the most exciting photo posted that day was a throwback Sophie shared of her holding Adonis when he was a tiny baby. In the snap, it appears the 29-year old mom-of-one was breastfeeding baby Adonis. The baby’s face, however, was hidden from the photo thanks to an expert filter.

Sophie, who is a French artist, wrote a sweet captioned dedicated to her baby boy. “Son of my life, being your mom is the most beautiful thing in the world… 2 years already my Adonis,” she wrote in the caption, though it was originally posted in French.

While Drake also shared a series of photos from Adonis’ birthday, none of them showed the kiddo’s face. Drake’s post featured a variety of balloons hung up on the wall that spelt out his son’s name. He captioned the post, “Happy Birthday King.”

Drake and Sophie weren’t together when she discovered her pregnancy. In fact, it wasn’t publicly confirmed that the rapper had a son until Pusha T released a diss track against Drake in which he accused him of being a deadbeat father. Drake eventually revealed to fans in October 2017 that his son had been born. Sophie and baby Adonis live full-time in Europe, though sources say Drake sees his son whenever possible.

This past March, for instance, a source told Hollywood Life how the father-of-one was managing to spend time with his boy while enjoying his European tour. Sophie brought baby Adonis to several of his father’s tour stops.

“The mother of Drake’s child, Sophie lives in France, so it was easy for her to bring Adonis to see Drake in Manchester,” the source explained. “She’s flown with Adonis all the way to L.A. before to see Drake so meeting up with him in the U.K. was no issue at all. Drake pays for all her travel of course, he always does.”

From the sounds of it, Drake is very much enjoying fatherhood, though the source said he prefers to keep his personal life away from the public eye. “Drake loves being a dad and is so proud of his son,” the insider continued. “He just keeps things very discreet because he feels that is safest and healthiest for his son. Drake doesn’t want to broadcast any of his time with his son because he is a very protective father.”
