It looks as though country singer Dylan Scott has one more reason to sing his sweet lullabies at night. That’s because he and his wife Blair have announced that they are expecting another bundle of joy: a baby girl! The newest member of their family will be joining her 16-month-old brother, Beckett Scott, in the coming months.
The proud father shared his exciting news via social media with his fans. He made the announcement on his Instagram account and posted a video of the gender reveal that also starred little Beckett. The country singer captioned his video with, “Man, God has sure blessed Blair and I.”

Blair also took to her Instagram account to announce the exciting news: “And It’s A GIRL!!!! We can’t wait to meet our little chick in September!”
According to People Magazine, Scott said that he and his wife are over the moon with their baby news and that they can’t wait to meet their little bundle of joy when she makes her debut later on this year.
“We just can’t believe it! Excited is an understatement," Scott told the publication in an interview. "Blair and I are blessed beyond words and ready to take on this next season of life. Let the daddy-daughter songs begin.”
The adorable family also celebrated Easter with cute pics of their son wearing bunny ears while opening his gifts in the morning. Blair documented the moment for his social media followers.
The couple have been together since their middle school years. They made their relationship official by tying the knot back in July of 2016. They first announced that they are expecting a second child back in March. Scott also told People Magazine that he and his wife have long talked about wanting to expand their family and give little Beckett a sibling to play with.
“Blair came to me when Beckett was less than a year old and said, ‘Why get out of the process now? Let’s just have another kid,’ ” he recalled. “I was like, ‘Babe, are you sure you want to do this?’ But the more I thought about it, I was thinking that I’m 28 and she’s 29 and we are getting to our 30s. I think it would be really cool for Beckett to have a little sister or a little brother really close in age so they can grow up together.”
In addition to his exciting baby news, Scott will also be heading out with Chris Young on his ‘Raised on Country Tour’ which kicks off in May. Scott will be home by the time his wife prepares to give birth by her due date.
