Eva Amurri Martino no longer wants to be a Martino. Eva Amurri shared that she would like to go back to her maiden name.

Eva shared on her Instagram a picture on January 8 of her putting on her make-up and looking fierce. She wrote, "It’s EA to you, baby! ❤️👊🏼 After a lot of thought, I decided to check the box with my divorce to restore my maiden name." The actress shares that it certainly was not an easy decision to make, " It was a very emotional decision but an empowering one, and I’m looking forward to the fresh start this new decade brings. I’m also way in to celebrating with hair accessories." She then goes on to ask her followers for some help, "Divorced mamas, I want to hear from you! Did you restore your maiden name or keep the same last name as your kiddos? I firmly believe there is no “right” way, but I think it’s so important to discuss these kinds of things to make others feel less alone."

On November 15, Eva announced that she and her husband have decided to part ways. They decided that they were going to get a divorce and work on raising their children together as friends as opposed to husband and wife. In one part of her posts she wrote,  "We are committed to, and excited about, raising our three beautiful children as close friends and deep partners, and we have the utmost respect for one another. We feel so grateful for the wonderful gifts we have created and received throughout our decade together."

The couple currently has two children together. They have a son named Major James, 3, and a daughter Marlowe Mae,4. They also announced that they were pregnant with their third child back in September. On their post, they were holding a big black balloon that said, "Baby." She then wrote, "Sugar, Spice, and Everything Nice? Or Sticks, Snails, and Puppy Dog Tails?" She is about 30 weeks now. The family has decided that they were going get a divorce but plan on giving the best life possible to their three children.

Many of her followers shared whether or not they changed their last names when they got a divorce. A lot of the women shared that they decided not to change their last name because they wanted to make sure that they had the same last name as their children. But, as Eva said, there is no "right" way.
