Celebrities are just like us. They fall in love, get married and eventually start families. 2019 is only halfway over, but many of our favorite entertainers have had babies, either for the first time or to add to their growing family.

It would be impossible to name every single famous person who's had babies so far, so we're going to stick to some of our faves. Here are ten celebrities who have had babies during the first part of 2019.

10 10. Alfonso Ribeiro

Alfonso Ribeiro might be known to the world as Carlton from The Fresh Prince and an accomplished event host, but he's come a long way from his days as Will Smith's sidekick. In addition to becoming an accomplished event host and winner of Dancing With The Stars (season 19), he's also become a husband and father of three.

Alfonso's family got a little bigger this year. The former-child-star welcomed his third child with his wife, Angela Ribeiro, on May 15. Angela went into labor with their daughter, Ava Sue Ribeiro on Mother's Day. She was born three days later, on May 15.

9 9. Clare Holt

Clare Holt, star of The Originals, proudly welcomed her first child with her husband into the world earlier this Spring. The thirty-year-old got rather candid when she expressed the joy of delivering a healthy baby.

Apparently, the road to motherhood has not been an easy or kind one for Clare. In addition to sharing the obvious physical pain, Clare also delved into the emotional journey her pregnancy induced, after having had a miscarriage a year prior.

Thankfully, there was light at the end of the tunnel. Clare's son, Andrew Holt Joblin was born on March 29.

8 8. Harry Shum Jr.

Crazy Rich Asians star, Harry Shum Jr., welcomed his first child with wife Rabara Shum, into the world on March 29. The first time father celebrated the milestone occasion with a series of sweet black and white photos of their daughter, who they've named Xia.

According to People, Shum adorably beamed when talking about how excited he was to watch little Xia grow up and learn how to make dumplings. He also spoke about which characteristics he hoped Xia would inherit from his Crazy Rich Asians co-stars.

7 7. Kehlani

Singer Kehlani delivered a healthy baby girl on March 25, 2019. Named Adeya Nomi, the little girl is a first for Kehlani and her boyfriend, Javie Young-White.

The first time mom, who can only be described as a ray of sunshine throughout her pregnancy, shared that her delivery did not come easy. Instead of Kehlani having her baby in a hospital, where epidural would be at her disposal, she had an un-medicated home birth, on her bathroom floor. Need any more proof that women are superheroes?

6 6. Jessica Simpson

The last trimester of Jessica Simpson's third pregnancy inspired many memes online. The mom-of-three-to-be uploaded a funny, yet sympathy-inducing photo of herself looking exhausted and very, very pregnant. Mothers, past and present, flooded her comment section with support and funny anecdotes about their own pregnancy pains.

After a long, difficult pregnancy, Jessica finally gave birth in March to a baby girl named Birdie Mae (who weighed 10 pounds, 3 ounces!).

5 5. Amy Schumer

Amy Schumer is yet another first-time mother of 2019. The actress and writer welcomed her first son with husband, Chris Fischer, into the world in early May. The baby's name is Gene Attell Fischer.

Because this is the internet, some users had some thoughts about the baby's name, stating that Amy was setting him up to be made fun of. (If you don't get it, say the middle and first name quickly) to yourself.  Amy, however, seems to be enjoying motherhood and isn't letting any of the naysayers phase her.

4 4. Steven Yeun

Former Walking Dead star, Steven Yeun, welcomed a baby with wife, Joanna Pak. This is the second baby for the happy couple. Their daughter was born in late April. At the time of birth, Steven and his wife opted not to share the name of the little darling. Their first child, Jude Malcolm, was born in 2019.

3 3. Trey Songz

Singer Trey Songz recently introduced his first child to the world. The R&B singer confirmed the rumors, which had been circulating, in Mid-May. Trey Songz' son, named Noah was announced via a heartwarming black and white Instagram post. "My son Noah. We are overjoyed and blessed," he wrote.

2 2. Kim Kardashian

Kim Kardashian welcomed her fourth child with husband, Kanye West, into the world this Spring. Due to the health risk involved, the beauty mogul and reality star opted to go the surrogacy route, just as she did with her third child, Saint West.

To the world's surprise, Kim and Kanye named their youngest, a son, Psalm West. That might sound peculiar, but with siblings named North, Saint, and Chicago, Psalm fits right in. It's unknown whether or not Psalm is a nod to Kanye's recent interest in holding church services, of if Psalm, which means "song" is a nod to his career instead.

1 1. Meghan Markle

Meghan Markle easily wins the trophy for most anticipated celebrity delivery, so far, of 2019. The world has been completely entranced by her fairy tale romance with Prince Harry, the Duke Of Sussex. When the newly-married couple announced their pregnancy just a few months into their marriage, the world was put on baby watch.

That watch ended on May 6, when reports came in that Meghan had delivered her and Harry's first child. It would be two more days before Meghan and Harry introduced their baby boy, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor, to the world in a reveal that was definitely worth the wait.
