This Little Fan Of "Fixer Upper" Got A DIY-Inspired Playhouse From Her Parents

A little girl gets a "Magnolia Silos" playhouse - a perfect gift from her "Fixer-Upper"-loving family!

If you're a DIY-type and a big HGTV fan with a little one at home in need of a playhouse, you may have just landed on the perfect idea. As thestir.cafemom.com reported, a Facebook post from Haley Curfman recently went viral when she posted about her 2-year-old niece Reese's new Chip-and-Joanna-Gaines-esqué playhouse on the popular social media site.

Curfman said that her mom, Shannon had the idea to build the mini "Magnolia Market" for Reese as a playhouse. With several trips to the local home improvement store for paint, plywood, Reese's dad's tools, Shannon's skills with Printship and Cricut and a little bit of effort and elbow grease from the whole Curfman crew (including Reese herself), the little tot was soon on her way to having a ton of fun, Fixer-Upper style pad.

In the end, the entire project ended up costing the family an estimated $300 to $500. And judging by adorable Reece's smiling face as she stands by her very own Magnolia Silos playhouse, it was clearly worth every single penny.

The family took a very special photo similar to one taken of Chip and Joanna Gaines once the playhouse was complete. With the Gaines' original photo, Chip is on the left side, elbows on the bar, gazing over to Joanna, who is on the right side, elbows also on the bar, gazing over at Chip.

To change things up slightly, Reese's father is kneeling on the right side looking at Reese who has her elbows on the bar looking at her father. It's a darling tribute photo! Reese is even wearing a dress similar to Joanna's dress.

Aunt Haley confirmed on Facebook that the project was a labor of love and that Reese enjoyed every process of building the playhouse, which took several months to complete. Reese has already made it her own, filling the interior with her belongings such as crayons and tin pots with flowers. Too cute!

Since this project turned out so well, the Curfman family has plans to tackle more mini-Magnolia inspired replicas for Reese to play in as well such as "Magnolia Table" and "Silos Baking Co."

So, stay tuned for more from the crafty Curfman family! What do you think of Reese's playhouse? Let us know in the comments!
