Singer Kelly Rowland has revealed that her pregnancy is a result of quarantine boredom. She and husband Tim Weatherspoon are now preparing their son Titan for his new baby brother or sister to arrive.
Rowland spoke with People on October 20 about her second pregnancy. "Me and my husband were in the middle of COVID just like everybody else and there's not much to do in the house," the singer joked with the publication. "We were like, 'We'll just try for a baby, we'll see what happens because we don't know how long this is gonna last,'" she added. "Literally, by the grace of God, God blessed us with a new life. We're just really excited." Luckily for Rowland, it did not take too long to conceive the second child she and her husband have been waiting for. Even her son Titan cannot wait to meet his new sibling, but Rowland is wondering how she is going to deal once the baby arrives and Titan is not getting the attention he's used to.
When it comes to labor, this time around Rowland wants to try things a little differently. "I want to feel the shock," she explains. "It's probably just movie magic, but I want the movie magic moment where it's like, 'Oh my God, my water broke.'" While the former Destiny Child's member wants the full pregnancy experience, she does not want to feel all the pain. Once she feels it going from "0 to 100", Rowland will stop and let the doctors do what they have to do in order for her to have a pleasant delivery experience. After Rowland delivers baby number two, she's closing up shop and doesn't plan on conceiving a third child. For her, two children are more than enough.
At least something good came from the quarantine for Kelly Rowland, a beautiful baby on the way.
