It did take a while for the celebrity parents to interact. Savage didn't want to bother the two parents but finally worked up the courage to finally say something. He decided to simply introduce himself as Fred and remind her that they once starred in a movie together. You may have forgotten that both Beyoncé and Fred had roles in the 2002 film Austin Powers in Goldmember. It's ok, we did too.

But Beyoncé didn't. He reveals that Beyoncé said she not only remembered him but she saw him at the beginning of the year but didn't want to bother him. Savage found that amusing and encouraged the singer to bother him anytime.

He told this story on PeopleTV's web series Couch Surfing and confirmed that Bey and Jay are wonderful parents. He shared, “She and Jay are great parents, they’re active parents, they’re at school.” He said they attend events, picnic at the end of the year and play with their daughter.

Yes, take comfort in knowing the Beyonce, Jay-Z, and Fed Savage attend many mundane school events. He added, "It’s amazing to see these titans of art and culture and business, these huge totemic figures just being mom and dad, its awesome."

Savage has three children with his wife of Oliver, 13, Lily, 11, and August, 6 with his wife Jennifer Lynn Stone. Beyonce and Jay-Z also have three children. Blue and two-year-old twins Rumi, a girl, and Sir, a little boy.

It's would definitely be weird to see Queen Bey and Jay-Z in the school pick up line but it's great they're so involved. Fred acted like anyone of us would if we saw this power couple at school even though he is super successful himself.

Since starring in the coming of age show The Wonder Years in the 90s, he's been active in TV and film since. Currently, he directs many television shows and recently co-starred in the Netflix series Friends From College.

Let's hope these pairs of parents become great friends!
