Actress Gabrielle Union, 46, recently shared her baby daughter Kaavia's first words on Instagram!

Kaavia James Wade may only be nine months old but the little girl already knows how to politely excuse herself from a room. Union and her husband, former pro basketball player Dwayne Wade, welcomed daughter Kaavia ("Kaavi" for short), Union's first child, and Wade's first daughter, nine months ago via surrogate. Wade has three sons from previous relationships and Union has been open about having suffered multiple miscarriages in the past.

Kaavia, it seems, is a ray of eternal sunshine in her parents' lives. Union shared a video on Tuesday of the baby saying "bye bye" after being prompted to by her who was off-camera. Union later told People that Kaavia's first words are very fitting for her unique personality.

"I thought saying 'Mom' or 'Dad' first was sort of natural, but then she started saying 'Bye,' which says it all," Union said at a press event. "She’s very much her own person. We say 'Hi' and 'Hey' so she kinda gets that, she says that pretty okay. But when we leave her, we say ‘Bye-bye,’ and that’s what stuck. And that’s what is super clear. She’s very articulate with the 'Bye-bye.'"

The America's Got Talent judge went on to say that she's well aware that time is flying. While Kaavia is just 9 months now, Union knows that it will be just within the blink of an eye before the tiny girl is up and walking around, asserting more of her already hilarious personality! If you follow either Union or Kaavia on Instagram, you'll definitely understand! The photos that Union posts of this sweet baby's face are too funny for words. Kaavia is absolutely not lacking for personality.

Union recently launched her "New York & Company Baby Collection" line of clothing, which features adorable "Mommy and Me" matching or coordinating outfits but Union said that while she loves "twinning" with her baby, she also can't wait until Kaavia gets to the point to where she is choosing her own outfits. She doesn't want her baby to grow up fast but at the same time, Union is so excited to see what kind of fashion sense Kaavia has and what the two of them will have in common!
