Leighton Meester and Adam Brody have welcomed their second child together, the O.C. alum announced this week. The couple is notoriously known for keeping their personal lives out of the public eye. But, Brody shared the news that the couple had added their newest bundle of joy to their family recently.
While the exact date of their second child’s birth is unknown, Brody, 40, announced this week while joining in Hold the Phone TV's The Fun Time Boys Game Night Spectacular that the couple had their second baby. According to E! Online, Brody said on Twitch that since the last time he played video games, he had another child. He says the couple welcomed a baby boy, and Brody called him a “dream.” As for Meester, the Gossip Girl alum has not made an official announcement on her son’s birth.
The couple also has daughter and big sister Arlo, who was born in 2015. The public found out Meester, 34, was expecting her second child after she was seen with a growing baby bump while out on a walk with Brody and Arlo back in early April. Meester has said having a personal life with her family and friends must be nurtured. Brody also spoke of the same values to GQ last year, saying their family enjoys staying home. He says they don’t feel the need to seek publicity, and have found a great balance in keeping their personal life private.
The couple first met in 2010 while filming The Oranges and tied the knot four years later in 2014. And while a Gossip Girl reboot is in the works, Meester has said she does not plan to make an appearance.
