Hilaria Baldwin shares four kids under five with Hollywood legend Alec Baldwin, and a body that would make a twenty-year-old green with envy.
But her life hasn’t always been the image of bliss that we see in her light-hearted Instagram posts. The 34-year-old yoga instructor and wellness guru has opened up about her past struggles with eating disorders.
There was a time that the mom-of-four was struggling with body confidence issues, as People reports. Hilaria grew up with anorexia and bulimia, which became the driving force for her decision to turn to yoga and wellness.

Today she looks one hundred per cent happy in her own skin, and regularly shares candid mirror selfies on Instagram. And even though she is no Ashley Graham, she is dead-serious that she too has flaws, just like the rest of us.
She has now embarked on an Instagram crusade to help women love and accept their bodies, especially after having babies. She recently shared an photo of herself (that was not retouched) cuddling her new-born baby Romeo, with a long caption detailing her past struggles and future plans.
In my book, The Living Clearly Method, I opened up about growing up with an eating disorder. I turned to yoga, health and wellness to heal my body and my mind. I think back to my old self and how much I would have struggled with gaining weight during pregnancy and being patient with healthfully losing it. I’m so happy I can be a strong and happy mommy now, completely accepting of my body. I’m so excited to partner with @Aerie and @NEDA on their journey to create a culture to celebrate all bodies and empower women to embrace their true selves. For every unretouched photo shared with the hashtag #AerieREAL, @Aerie will donate $1 to @NEDA. #AeriePartner #WeGotThis2018
The Spanish-born beauty divulged her intention to “create a culture to celebrate all bodies and empower women to embrace their true selves.” For this she has partnered with Aerie’s online body positivity campaign, prompting fans to share untouched photos of themselves with the hashtag #AerieREAL. For every untouched photo shared, Hilaria has revealed that the brand will donate one dollar to the National Eating Disorders Association. That is seriously awesome.
The post comes a few days after Hilaria posted on Instagram an unfiltered video of herself working out in her undies, prompting women to take it easy on themselves after having a baby, and not to expect miracle results overnight.
Hilaria’s frequent body positive snaps are no doubt awe-inspiring. She still looks like she is in amazing shape after having four babies in quick succession. With a naturally petite frame and stretch mark-free skin, the yoga instructor definitely does not appear to need any retouching in the first place.
