No matter how zen you are, having a baby is a pretty big thing. Even if this isn't your first rodeo, there's no doubt that the thought of giving birth has you a little bit phased. Hilaria Baldwin, mother to four and yoga guru extraordinaire is no different. The 34-year-old is due to give birth to baby number four in the spring, but admitted her nerves to Parents magazine.
During my pregnancies and throughout all stages of my Baldwinitos’ lives, I’ve turned to @parents to help me navigate motherhood. I'm always looking to learn from fellow mommies and daddies to find out what has worked for their families. I’m so excited to share the May cover of @parents with you! On Alec's birthday (and everyday), I'm so grateful to him for giving me Carmen, Rafa, Leo and Baldwinito #4 #wegotthis2018
"Carmen did everything with us. Then when Rafael was born, things got complicated," the business owner said for her cover story in May. The magazine features some adorable pictures of Hilaria and her three children. She goes on to explain that family life changes with every child, leaving her slightly apprehensive. "And when Leonardo was born, I had a moment of 'What have I done!' Panic. There were tears. But then I kind of lived it, and it all came together." Doesn't that sound painfully familiar?
Hilaria has been married to actor Alec Baldwin since 2012, having met at her studio, Yoga Vida in Manhattan. The two instantly hit it off and married a year after meeting at St. Patrick's Old Cathedral in New York City. They already share three beautiful children together, daughter Carmen and sons Leonardo and Rafael. The Baldwin's announced they were expecting baby number four in November 2017, much to the delight of fans.
Alec was previously married to Kim Basinger from 1993-2002. The romance and the divorce was the subject of much media attention, largely circulating on the custody battle for their daughter, Ireland. Both sides blamed the other for varying reasons, with Baldwin claiming that Basinger made it as difficult as possible for him to see or contact Ireland. Things came to a head in 2007 when the Working Girl star left an angry voicemail calling his daughter a "rude thoughtless pig." The message was leaked to the press, causing all manner of issues.
Thankfully, Baldwin has repaired the relationship with his daughter, now 22. The father of four is undoubtedly looking forward to becoming a father of five and staying free of controversy.
